Kolaleh spent over 16 years in leadership roles at Children’s National Hospital, including as Vice President and Chief Innovation Officer. She founded and led Innovation

Ventures, the hospital’s commercialization arm. As Principal Investigator, she secured over $35 million in federal funding. She also served as the founding Executive Director of the Sheikh Zayed Institute for Pediatric Surgical Innovation.

She holds degrees in Physics and Mechanical Engineering, a PhD in Management Science and Economics, an MBA, and executive training in drug and device development and venture capital/private equity from MIT and Columbia Business School.
