HOW WE HELP

Direct Support

CTIP invests non-dilutive grant funds directly into pediatric medical device projects through our annual Catalyzing Pediatric Innovation (CPI) grant competition and other grant opportunities.

These grants require a separate application, and winners are selected via a step-wise process.

CTIP grant opportunities are open to CTIP portfolio members and outside projects alike. Review each opportunity for more specific details.

Indirect Support

Through the indirect support mechanism, CTIP funds consulting services on behalf of portfolio members. CTIP provides up to $50,000 annually in indirect support per pediatric medical device project, with a standard two-week review cycle from the date of submission. Typical approvals range from $5,000 to $15,000.

CTIP works with a vetted network of service providers with specialized pediatric medical device experience that are available to all portfolio members. All indirect support requests must be submitted and approved before work begins. Retroactive funding is prohibited; therefore, completed work is not eligible for funding consideration.

Please note: CTIP provides strategic support, not sustained operational funding.

CTIP Vendors

CTIP achieves its mission to support Pediatric medical device innovators on their journey from concept to commercialization by working with experienced vendors and consultants in the MedTech Ecosystem. In order to reduce risk, we carefully vet vendors based on their track record, experience, willingness, and ability to meet timelines and criteria.
