INNOVATION BOOTCAMP
Overview
The CTIP MedTech Innovation Bootcamp aims to support the advancement of pediatric medical devices developed at CTIP Consortium and KidsX member hospitals. Staff at these organizations are invited to submit their pediatric medical device projects for consideration in this challenge. Eligible submissions will be invited to participate in an entrepreneurial bootcamp designed to educate inventors on the pediatric innovation landscape and how to advance their projects toward commercial viability. High-impact projects will be selected to be a part of the CTIP portfolio and will receive support including access to advisors and consulting services, funding opportunities, and educational resources.
Eligibility Criteria
✓ Must be a project from a CTIP Consortium or an active KidsX Member Hospital.
✓ The submission must be a novel pediatric medical device or technology (pre-clinical/clinical stage preferred).
✓ Devices must meet the FDA definition of a medical device.
✓ Novel drugs, chemical therapies, process improvement innovations, and fetal devices/technologies without pediatric applications are not eligible.
✓ The innovation should lead to improved patient experience, quality, outcomes, or efficiency.
