Gravitas Medical Takes Home Pitch Competition Win at 2026 CTIP Symposium Demo Day
SEPTEMBER 4, 2026 – CHICAGO, IL – At the 2026 Pediatric Device Innovation Symposium hosted by the Consortium for Technology & Innovation in Pediatrics (CTIP), five CTIP portfolio companies pitched to a panel of investor judges for a prize of $20,000 in CTIP services, in addition to one year of visibility on PedsMrkt, a collaborative marketplace platform to engage buyers, sellers, and partners in scaling and disseminating pediatric innovations. Gravitas Medical, maker of an enteral feeding platform that assists with proper placement of feeding tubes in neonates, secured the pitch competition win!
Spun out in 2015 from Theranova, a San Francisco-based medical device venture hub, Founder and CEO, Saheel Sutaria, MEng, developed the Entarik Platform alongside a team of talented engineers. The platform, which was granted FDA Clearance in early 2023, administers nutrition, fluids, and medications to patients that have an intact gastrointestinal tract but are not able to manage nutritional intake via traditional routes.

The Entarik Platform is designed to assist in feeding tube placement, identify airway insertions, monitor tube position, and alert care teams if tube dislodgement occurs – all while improving patient safety, producing better health outcomes, and offering ICU nurses a time-saving solution.
