CHICAGO, IL – MARCH 23, 2026 – Submissions are now open for the Consortium for Technology & Innovation in Pediatrics (CTIP) 2026 Catalyzing Pediatric Innovation (CPI) Annual Grant Competition. Selected pediatric medical device innovators will be awarded up to $50,000 in grants.
Pediatric patients have long been underserved in the medical devices space, with many being treated with adult medical devices instead. Pediatric medical devices lag up to ten years behind adult device counterparts – and CTIP aims to address the lack of access to effective diagnostic or therapeutic devices made specifically for children.
Supported by a grant from the U.S. FDA Pediatric Device Consortia (PDC), CTIP is pleased to provide grants to selected submissions to support the advancement of innovation in pediatric medical devices from ideation through commercialization.
Submission Criteria for the 2026 CPI Grant
Please note: Medical devices with adult indications that are expanding or wish to expand their clinical indication to pediatrics are welcome to apply.
Submissions Not Eligible for the CPI Grant
